DX News Bits: J-Boog, Rihanna

Former B2K singer J-Boog was arrested over the holiday weekend over allegations of domestic abuse. According to E! News, the 24 year-old singer was jailed on Sunday after an altercation with his fiancee. The couple have three children together. "A patrol unit was dispatched to investigate a domestic violence call," said April Harding of the LAPD. "He was subsequently arrested and booked on suspicion of domestic assault, a felony."
In addition to the domestic violence charges, J-Boog also had several warrants for driving offenses.
In other news, singer Rihanna spent the weekend in Mexico with new boyfriend Matt Kemp, outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Papparazi took racy photos of the couple as they vacationed in a Mexico resort on Monday. Although Rihanna has been linked to other celebs such as Drake and Justin Timberlake, this is the first instance in which the pop singer has made a relationship public since last year's incident with former boyfriend Chris Brown.
The couple has not yet verbally confirmed their relationship.
