DX News Bits: Ghost-Rae-Meth Project, Timbaland

The Wu-Tang Clan trio of Method Man, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon are still planning a collaborative effort for 2010, but as of right now the group lacks a name. A representative for Ghost took to his Myspace page over the weekend and asked fans to help brainstorm potential names.
“As you know Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Raekwon are teaming up for an album dropping very soon, but Meth, Rae & Ghost need a name 4 the group. Txt MethRaeGhost to 66937 to name the band! If they chose UR name U can be in the liner notes.”
The trio’s album tentatively has no release date.
In other news, Timbaland will be embarking on his national Shock Value II Tour.
The 13-date tour will begin in his home state of Virginia on Friday (Jan. 15), hitting both coasts by the beginning of February. New Jersey-based pop-rock band Honor Society will be opening several dates on the tour.
“I'm so excited to come and give my fans an intimate, up-close and personal experience of my music,” Timbaland explained. “I want everyone to leave feeling like they never stopped dancing the entire time.”
