Rapper 50 Cent has reportedly been named one of many celebrities to have made thousands of dollars to help bring in 2010 with party appearances and performances on New Year's Eve.

In addition to 50, Black Eyed Peas' Fergie reportedly banked over $700,000 last night (December 31).

According to sources at NewYearsEve.com, Fergie Ferg and the rest of the Peas will be kissing some serious green come midnight -- taking in more than $700,000 to show up and perform at LAX at the Luxor. As for the rest... 50 Cent -- $100,000 for a party at Pure at Caesars Palace. LMFAO -- $75,000 to perform at a place called Silk in Temecula Pete Wentz -- $30,000 to hang at Jet Nightclub in Vegas Nik Richie (the guy from TheDirty.com) -- $20,000 to appear at Pure in Vegas The cheapest of the group: Brody Jenner, who's pulling in a measly $10K to party at the Hotel Ganesvoort in Miami. Details on the performance have also been revealed.

50 started his performance on the Pure roof deck, welcoming 2010 with his suggestively titled song "Have a Baby By Me, Baby, Be a Millionaire." About half an hour past midnight, the concert continued in the club's main room. "2010! We gonna ring it in right," the rapper called from the stage, now out of the black brocade jacket he sported for his walk down the red carpet and wearing a white jacket and his standard issue Yankees hat. Standing next to boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr, who obligingly held up a stack of cash, 50 launched into the first song of his roughly 45-minute set, "I Got Money." The pair played off each other throughout 50's 13-song tour through his hits with so much chemistry, Mayweather might consider joining the music man on his next tour. When 50 called out "I get money!", Mayweather held up his own pile of bills, fanning them out for all to see. It was like a beautiful interpretive dance, with Benjamins. (Las Vegas Weekly)
Rap mogul Diddy helped bring in the new year with free transportation to New York City and Las Vegas pedestrians.

After a successful run last year, the music mogul has teamed up with Ciroc Vodka for another Safe Rides program, which provides transportation in New York for those hammered after celebrating New Years Eve. For the first time, the program is being offered in Las Vegas. (VIBE)
The Bad Boy Records executive also spoke on the importance of featuring Vegas and the Big Apple this year.

"New York stands as the world's icon for a New Year's Eve celebration and Las Vegas is the biggest party destination in the country," Combs said in a statement. "By bringing this program to both of these great cities we will continue to show the rest of the country that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn't end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely."
