The offer was made official on Monday (December 28).

The rapper Nelly is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who broke into his suburban St. Louis home earlier this month. CrimeStoppers announced the reward on Monday. Someone forced his way through a locked window at Nelly's Wildwood home in the early hours of Dec. 11 and got away with a duffel bag full of items that included electronics and other goods. Details on the burglary landed online in early December.

St. Louis County police are on the scene at St. Louis rapper Nelly's home in Wildwood, Missouri. According to St. Louis County police, people inside the residence called and said that someone was breaking into the rap star's home. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s or 30 with a mustache and glasses. He was wearing a black coat. Police searched a nearby wooded area for any clues or suspects. A search dog and the St. Louis County helicopter was also used. Police believe the suspect may have gotten into a car and left the scene before they arrived. (Fox News)
Aside from his home robbery, the St. Lunatics head master recently talked about his new album.

"The thing is, I work best with two strikes, two outs," Nelly revealed in an interview. "I really think I do. As an artist, you want to wake up every day and feel like you're doing something people don't think you can do. Now I feel like I've been put in that position again, where it's more doubt than expectancy. The doubt is what fuels me, so to speak. I've been real fortunate where I have great people around me. Everybody wants to freakin' work with me -- not that everybody didn't [before], but it's different because I didn't work with a lot of people. Coming into this situation, it's beautiful...In the booth right now, it's kind of different. I got Sean Paul, Akon...as far as the rappers go, Plies. Me and [Young] Jeezy talking about some things now. I'm not finished, but I'm a good portion on the way." (MTV)
