(AllHipHop News) As the tension and excitement builds in the months leading up to the release of Kanye West’s still untitled 5th album, Kanye West is “all about the fans” and will be releasing a new song every week until Christmas.

Kanye, who tweeted the announcement Sunday night (August 22nd), stressed the importance of giving back to the fans.

He also let the fans know how hard he has been working to ensure that his label, G.O.O.D Music, puts out a quality product.

"I know y'all need the music so I'm dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song, it may be a new Jay song, etc," Kanye tweeted.

A minute later the Chicago based MC/Producer coined the impromptu releases as “Good Fridays”.

"I'm calling it good Fridays. Yall know every Friday yall gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now,” Mr. West added. “It's about the fans. No more holding back. That's why I dropped see me now... It wasn't about me it was about the Summer the BBQs etc.”

Kanye then talked about what he’s been working on as of late and let the fans know about his dedication to his music and the art he creates.

He is working on projects for Pusha T, Raekwon, Mos Def, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams.

Swizz looked at me the other night and said man are you getting sleep and I told him I can't sleep... My people need this new music,” Kanye recalled. “Yall make all the hard work worth it.... We been up to 5 am every night working on everything Pusha, Rakwon, Mos, Swizz, Skateboard etc. “

Additionally, Kanye is in the process of creating a movie that will go along with the much anticipated album he has been working on in seclusion.

“In Prague organizing the movie based around the album... I just wanna thank everybody for the overwhelming response to the Power remix!,“ he tweeted.

Kanye West will perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, which air live September 12 at 9 p.m. The appearance marks his VMA return after a notorious onstage interruption during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for her VMA Award.

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West's Porsche Panamera car was reportedly involved in a major accident over the weekend after crashing into a resident's home in Hawaii.

According to reports, the accident took place on Saturday (June 5).

Chris Cooper said he was shaken out of bed at around four o'clock Saturday morning by the loud noise. "Just a tremendous crash. As if a small building were coming down," said Cooper, who lives across the street from the crash scene. Cooper thought something had happened on Diamond Head Road until he stepped outside. "I looked over here and saw the car impaled in the garage," he said. The garage door to the home was pushed in and there was a large, gaping hole in the side of the garage wall. Honolulu police said the Porsche Panamera that was found at the scene is registered to rap star Kanye West. They said the car was being driven along Hibiscus Drive when it failed to make a right turn. (KITV News)

Additional details on what went down have also circulated online.

The residence is undergoing construction and was unoccupied at the time. Police had difficulty pulling the car from the home. West has been renting a home in Honolulu, where he is recording his fifth album, but was not on the island at the time of the incident. Sources told KITV that his cousin had permission to drive the car, and witnesses said they saw three men fleeing the scene after the crash. An auto theft report was filed with police. (Rap-Up)

In addition to working on his 808's & Heartbreak album in Hawaii, the rapper has recently been rumored to be collaborating with artists like Drake and Pusha T on the tropical island.

Fuse TV's, Toure had a conversation with an individual who received a sneak peek at the rapper's new project and got wind of some DOPE information. According to Toure, RZA, Q-Tip and Pete Rock have all contributed to Yeezy's new effort. It's also been said that Pusha T from the Clipse and Drake have taken trips down to Hawaii (that's where he's creating the new album) to assist Ye with the new project. (BET's Sound Off)

G.O.O.D. Music's Fonzworth Bently recently confirmed Ye has been spending time in Hawaii working on new music.

"[Kanye] was trying to get me to come out the Hawaii last week," Fonz said in a February 2010 interview. "That's where he's recording. But my schedule wouldn't permit. I'm going to try my best to get out there before February's out." (VIBE)

No further details have been revealed as of now.

Kid Cudi Changes Album Title, Gets More Personal

Kid Cudi Changes Album Title, Gets More Personal
April 21, 2010 01:04:00 AM CDT | by Edwin Ortiz

After a few months floating around Cudder: The Revolution of Evolution as his sophomore disc title, Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi has now changed the name to Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager.

Taking to his blog, the G.O.O.D. Music artist explained what fans can expect on the new album. “[Man On The Moon II] is dark by nature and instead of bringing you into my dreams like my first album, I’m bringing you into my reality, good and bad. It will explain more of who I am as well as pushing the envelope musically.”

Cudi also stated he has scraped the collaborative theme of Cudder for a project that is more personal as he added, “A lot of you have read the news and think they know Cudi, got some slick shit to say amongst your peers or just flat out hate me but you haven’t the slightest clue of who I am. I will tell the story of Mr. Rager.”

Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager is tentatively scheduled for an August release, with expected features from Chip Tha Ripper and Ratatat.
