Game Releases Cover Art, New Track From Upcoming Mixtape

To hold fans over until the release of his next album, The R.E.D. Album, rapper The Game will be releasing a brand new mixtape. Entitled Brake Lights the mixtape is hosted by DJ Skee and produced by duo Cool & Dre.



"Every beat on the BRAKE LIGHTS mixtape is produced by @coolanddre & hosted by @djskee. This tape is serious, better than most n!ggas albums," Game Tweeted.



Cool & Dre also produced several tracks for Game’s studio album, The R.E.D. Album.



Yesterday (July 18), Game revealed the cover art for Brake Lights via Twitter.



The rapper also introduced “M.I.A.,” the first single off of the mixtape, in a post made from his Twitter account @ihategame late last week.



It is still unclear when exactly Brake Lights will be released. Game's The R.E.D. Album is now scheduled to be released in August.

Dr. Dre's "Detox" Single Delayed Because Of Eminem's "Not Afraid"

In an interview that was featured on France’s SkyRock radio Dr. Dre and Interscope’s Jimmy Iovine explained that Dr. Dre’s Detox single featuring Jay-Z, “Under Pressure,” was delayed because of the release of Eminem’s latest single “Not Afraid.”

HipHop-N-More.com reports that in the interview Dr. Dre and Iovine explained that Eminem’s single wasn’t planned to drop first and as a result the release of “Under Pressure” was delayed.
While “Under Pressure” may still be released as a single another track may now be released before “Under Pressure.” A release may come some time this summer.
In other Detox news Scott Storch, the producer behind the “Under Pressure” track, recently revealed that although many are skeptical about Detox’s release the album is still scheduled to be released this year. In Storch’s interview with DJ Skee he also explained that Detox is only three tracks away from completion.
A set release for Detox has yet to be announced.
