After extensive hiatuses, today marks the release of Sade, Britain’s most successful solo female artist, and Gil Scott-Heron's, a Rap pioneer, first albums in 10 and 16 years, respectively. The following is a listing of what to expect from the rest of February:

This week, March picked up new projects from several hip-hop collectives including Army Of The Pharaohs, D-Block, as well as half of the living Wu-Tang Clan members. In addition, Amazon.com is reporting that Fashawn will be dropping a CD and DVD deluxe edition of Boy Meets World on March 23. The following week, Tech N9ne is slated to put out a five-track EP entitled The Lost Scripts Of K.O.D. The EP announcement comes along with the news of several other upcoming Strange Music releases including a collaboration album by Tech on July 27 and Krizz Kaliko’s Shock Treatment on September 14. Game Officially Returns To Aftermath Records

Saturday afternoon, rapper Game officially announced his return to Aftermath Records. The announcement, made via the Compton star rapper's Twitter page (@IHateGame), comes after pictures and statements already confirming Game's musical reunion with one of his early mentors, Dr. Dre.
Claiming, "It's funny how things come full circle. R.E.D." Game linked to a photograph of him wearing four Aftermath medallions on chain necklaces. R.E.D. is the title of Game's spring album, which may now carry the Aftermath logo.
Having released his multi-platinum debut, The Documentary on G-Unit/Aftermath/Interscope in 2005, the Black Wall Street founder would later release his two subsequent releases 2006's The Doctor's Advocate and 2008's L.A.X. on Geffen Records. Geffen, a sister-label to Interscope in the IGA (Interscope-Geffen-A&M) family. Many believed these actions were due to tension between Game and 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and even Interscope head Jimmy Iovine.
By returning to Aftermath, Game joins Eminem, 50 Cent, as well as two newer artists Slim Da Mobster and this week's DXnext artist, Hayes. Throughout his career, Game has worked with Aftermath producers including DJ Khalil, Hi-Tek and of course, Dre.
Earlier this week, Game released the Sam Cooke-sampling "Shake" , produced by Cool & Dre, which will be likely included on R.E.D.

West Coast rapper Game has publicly questioned why Jay-Z's New York anthem "Empire State of Mind" is in heavy rotation on Los Angeles radio.
From Game's perspective, Hov's hit gets more radio play outside of New York.
"How come Power 106 plays 'Empire State Of Mind' more than New York ?," Game asked via Twitter. "If I hear it 1 more time b4 I get home, I'm startin a full fledge protest (picket signs) & Im gettin dem women dat R against abortion 2 help They go HARD !!! & when I was in NEW YORK, aint hear "Empire State Of Mind" once... they only played ATL sh!t......... #whatsgoinon ?" New York Hot 97 radio personality DJ Enuff recently contemplated playing rapper Jay Electronica's "Exhibit C" during his on-air shifts.
"I'm listening to Jay Electronica's latest tune Exhibit C Produced by Just Blaze," he wrote Sunday (December 27). "It is so good. I think it's lyrical and the production is solid. Reminds me of some early Nas stuff,Then I ask my self : Why is it not spinning on the radio? At least during my time slot? Is it because there's no dance tied to it? Is it because it's not yet on BET's Top Ten Countdown? Does it have to be a Club Banger? The radio isn't a club. So why not Good solid Hip Hop? I have it on my website. I battle myself all the time when it comes to the radio. The job I love so much. I could make it the Heavy Hitter Pick of the week with no problem. Then what? I need HELP with this one. New York's DJ Kay Slay recently accused record labels of gearing more toward Southern artists.
"Papoose would do better on an independent right now because majors are really geared towards Southern artists or high profile artists that's been known for selling records. They don't wanna gamble too much with no new artists." (XXL Mag)
Rapper Saigon has also pointed out differences between Southern artists and his fellow New York emcees.
"All of us got caught up in the emergence of the South movement," Sai said about the delay of New York rap newcomers. "All of us came on the scene when the South was really makin' their move to take over. The record companies was like 'F*ck the New York n*ggas, the South sh*t is where it's at.'...All labels look at are radio spins really. If you can get a record up to 400, 500 spins on your own, they gonna come give you a record deal right away. They don't even have to listen to the song, they just need to see how many spins you got." Drake and LeBron James Team for All Star Celebrity Experience

(AllHipHop News) The worlds of Hip-Hop and basketball will once again intersect during this year’s NBA All-Star weekend, as Young Money rap star Drake and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James host the All Star Celebrity Experience.
The event will take place February 12 at the AMPM Lounge in Dallas and various entertainment areas in the city’s Mosaic building.
Located at 300 N Akard Street in downtown Dallas, AMPM is noted for an upscale vibe that includes more than seven party areas, 10 V.I.P. bars and two penthouse suites as well as music provided by four renowned DJs.
The All Star Celebrity Experience will be among a series of events planned for the all-star weekend.
The 59th NBA All-Star Game is slated to be played on February 14, 2010, at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX.
Among the starters lined up for the annual competition are James, Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade, Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett and Philadelphia 76er point guard Allen Iverson for the East as well as the Phoenix Suns’ Steve Nash and Amar'e Stoudemire, Los Angeles Lakers standout Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets and Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs for the West.
The All Star Celebrity weekend marks the second time Drake has worked on a James-related project. The rapper was featured on the soundtrack to the basketball star’s documentary More than a Game.
The tune, titled “Forever,” included fellow rhymesayers Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem.
Musically, 2010 looks to be a productive year for Drake, who saw his share of successful collaborations with Trey Songz, Timbaland, DJ Khaled, Gucci Mane, Birdman, Lil Wayne and Young Money in 2009.
The Toronto native is currently gearing up to release his forthcoming solo debut album, Thank Me Later, is slated to hit stores in March.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit LeBron James Family Foundation non-profit organization.
